I close my eyes

And breathe in, deeply

I sleep beneath satin sheets

And remember the pleasant comfort

Found, in your voice

In the still of the night

Between stars and dreams

And midnight seasons

In the mornings, I wake

To thoughts of you

I arise to hopes that do

Come true

My arms stretch and reach

Toward true love and passion

Toward loyalty and grace

And steadfast compassion

Between miles and empty space

I greet the day

Knowing simplicity is bliss

Knowing the finest things in life

Can never be bought or sold

That geniune affection is the purest wish

And life's greatest most beautiful gift
