I really just need you to slide
Right beside
The corner of my bedside
I really just want you
To tell me that what's yours
Is, simply divine
I think of you underneath
The moon and stars
And visions of candy cane lanes
When I travel distances far
Right beside
The corner of my bedside
I really just want you
To tell me that what's yours
Is, simply divine
I think of you underneath
The moon and stars
And visions of candy cane lanes
When I travel distances far
My love is etched in tree trunks
I leave flower petals and ebony
Stones, in my path
For you to follow home
I leave flower petals and ebony
Stones, in my path
For you to follow home
Because, I never want you to forget
Your way back to me
Your way back to me
Your way back to my heart
No matter how many years
No matter how many days
We've spent apart.
No matter how many years
No matter how many days
We've spent apart.

I really like the poems about people being seperated right now because my boyfriend is on vacation right now...and he's gonna be gone on my birthday and your poetry about being far away from each other makes me feel better! : )
A lovely poem and photo! I especially love, "My love is etched in tree trunks." Such a sweet line.
